18 Startups to Seek Investment at 4th NXTP Labs Demo Day this Week

Argentine accelerator NXTP Labs will host its 4th Demo Day this Friday, June 28th. The setting: Red Innova, which will take place in Buenos Aires for the first time this week.

NXTP boasts a network of over 80 mentors and has invested in more than 70 companies from 10 countries to date. At this week’s Demo Day, it will introduce 18 of its latest startups. Entrepreneurial teams will take the stage to present their business models to an audience of investors, executives and journalists, officially completing NXTP’s acceleration cycle and moving on to the next stage of growth.

Each startup will be allotted just three minutes to explain the problem the project is solving, the market it is targeting, the achievements it has under its belt and its plans looking ahead.

“In the three previous Demo Days, more than 70% of our portfolio of startups has managed to raise capital, and one of the companies was acquired by a company in Brazil. This positive outcome would not have been possible without of each Demo Day,” remarked Gonzalo Costa, Co-founder and Director of NXTP Labs who will host the event.

Costa described Demo Day as a crucial moment for startups, explaining that, in Latin America, there is a significant need for more angel investors willing to write checks for innovative companies to be born and grow. He called events such as Demo Day “key in the process of awakening angel investors.” Forums that expose early-stage companies to the investment community are essential in garnering the funding needed for those companies to grow, scale and continue on.
