Red Innova Set to Land in Argentina for the First Time

Red Innova is the number one community of innovation, technology and the entrepreneurial spirit in Ibero-America.

Pablo Larguía and José María Figueres originated the initiative in 2008. Since that time, the conference has become an international reference and prestigious event. Red Innova conferences have taken place in Madrid, New York and São Paulo, bringing together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, business executives, investors, academics, bloggers and government figures to share experiences, ideas and projects.

Now, Red Innova will be landing in Argentina for the very first time on the 27th and 28th of June. The conference’s Argentine arrival has been backed by international entities like Telefónica, BBVA, Microsoft, PayPal, Facebook, Twitter and Google.

“Red Innova is an essential event for discovering the future of the digital world, developing international networking opportunities and coming into contact with leaders in technology, innovation and the internet.” said Pablo Larguía, who now acts as CEO of Red Innova. “We are proud to hold the conference in Argentina – it is a reflection of the country’s excellent local talent.”

Red Innova Buenos Aires 2013 will feature inspiring speeches, business workshops and more. Open Talent, the Red Innova competition for startups, will award one innovative technology-based project during the event as well.

The list of speakers for the upcoming Red Innova Buenos Aires is impressive, to say the least. It includes Marcos Galperin of MercadoLibre, Andy Freire and Santiago Blinkis of Quasar Ventures, Maren Lau of IMS – Twitter, Santiago Siri of Grupo 42, Kay Kuehne of Airbnb, Hermione Way of TNW and Emiliano Kargieman of Satellogic.
