Following its February São Paulo edition, Lean Startup Machine is back for another round in Brazil – two rounds, in fact. The organization has lined up a repeat event for São Paulo and a new edition for Rio de Janeiro in the coming weeks.
Here are the details:
Lean Sartup Machine São Paulo – Third Edition
Date: April 26, 27 and 28
Place: Telefonica-Vivo | Rua Martiniano de Carvalho, 851 – Bela Vista – São Paulo/SP
Lean Startup Machine Rio de Janeiro – First Edition
Date: May 17, 18 and 19
“We are opening the Rio de Janeiro edition due to high demand from locals. With our two prior São Paulo editions, interest in the event has grown,” said Luis Novo, Founder of SuperNova Labs.
Lean Startup Machine is a three-day workshop designed to teach entrepreneurs and innovators how to build disruptive products and employ lean methodologies. Participants pitch ideas, form teams, create MVPs and then “get out of the building” to test out their projects in the real world. At the end of the event, teams pitch, and a winner is selected.
Previous Lean Startup Machine São Paulo participant Leandro Saouda described his experience with the workshop:
I decided to attend the event because I had an inkling that Lean Startup could be useful in my professional life, and the dynamics of the course were fantastic. We may have a conviction about something we create, but when we go to the streets, talk to people and put the idea into practice, that can change. We even joked that it’s like taking a slap in the face from society.
