Last week, comScore released a new report: 2013 Brazil Digital Future in Focus. The organization compiled research on prevailing trends in web usage, social media, online video, digital advertising, mobile and search in the Brazilian market to examine 2012’s developments and hypothesize what’s to come in 2013.
As a follow-up to the report, comScore will host a webinar this afternoon to present key trends and highlights.
“The Brazilian digital landscape saw significant change in 2012 led by the strong emergence of Social Networking, in addition to increasing media consumption in terms of online video and display advertising. As these media vehicles continue to grow, they are providing new and exciting opportunities for publishers hoping to attract audiences and marketers seeking to reach consumers,” said Alex Banks, Managing Director, Brazil and Vice President, Latin America at comScore. Banks will host today’s webinar.
The digital event will start at 4:00 p.m. EST today, Thursday, March 14th. It will be held in English.
Here are some report highlights:
– Brazilian consumers spent more than 27 hours per month online on their desktop computers – the highest average engagement of the eight Latin American markets analyzed.
