Last month, BRNewTech kicked off its 2013 agenda with a session titled Exits: Acquisitions & Joint Ventures from the Seller’s Perspective. During the January 30th event, entrepreneurs who have successfully sold companies told their stories and shared their perspectives with the BRNewTech audience.
This month, it will be the buyers’ turn to tell their side of the story.
On Tuesday, February 19th, BRNewTech will host a follow-up event, Exits: Buyers Share Their Perspective on Acquisition. Julio Vasconcellos of Peixe Urbano and Fabricio Bloisi of Movile will discuss their acquisition experiences as two leaders within Brazil’s entrepreneurial space.
Peixe Urbano, Movile LatAm Leaders
The value of the perspectives of both Vasconcellos and Bloisi should not be understated.
Peixe Urbano is one of Brazil’s biggest startup success stories to date and has made various acquisitions as part of a diversification strategy in sectors like travel and delivery. Mobile, on the other hand, is Latin America’s leading mobile internet services company. It has developed a portfolio of products and services that is second-to-none and essential as an investor and innovator within the Latin American tech ecosystem.
Registration for February’s BRNewTech meetup, which is sponsored by Microsoft, is now open – a space can be reserved here.
