NXTP will run the AWS Startup Program, through which startups will receive US$5,000 in AWS credits, monthly sessions on technical and architectural issues, and connections with relevant local customers.
Through the program, AWS will make a positive impact on Latin America’s startup ecosystem. Juliano Tubino, Marketing Director of AWS Latin America, said, “The AWS Startup Program will help entrepreneurs of Latin America to succeed through access to technology, mentoring and routes to the market. Amazon selected NXTP Labs to start this program because the high quality of their program reflects in the graduated startups from NXTP already in the market.”
With AWS Alliance, NXTP Ups the Ante
Startups looking for a place to accelerate in Argentina will want to take note of this latest development and its implications for the NXTP program.
NXTP is already regarded as one of the region’s top accelerators and a leader in the Spanish-speaking startup ecosystem. It offers selected startups US$25,000 in seed capital as well as coaching and consulting in marketing, social media, scalability, creative design, analytics, PR, finance, law and HR. What’s more, NXTP’s startups gain access to its worldwide network of entrepreneurs, investors and executives.
With the AWS alliance, entrepreneurs stand to get even more out of the NXTP acceleration experience. Ariel Arrieta, Co-founder and Director of NXTP Labs, elaborated, “Through this alliance we hope to support entrepreneurs even better. This is a top-tier deal that drives Latin American entrepreneurs to play an important role in the development of the region. Amazon, one of the most important tech companies of the world, is looking for and supporting entrepreneurs in their initial steps.”
