Last week, the final leg of the startup competition organized by Anjos do Brasil and CONAJE in Brazil took place. Ten early-stage startups took the stage to pitch their ideas to an audience of investors, journalists and entrepreneurs.
At the end of the two-hour event, the winners were announced:
First Place: Tenho Dono, the first collaborative lost-and-found service in Brazil, helping people to recuperate lost items such as personal documentation and electronics.
Second Place: Heap Up, a research platform where users win prizes for participating in surveys and polls.
Third Place: Já Entendi, an educational intelligence startup that produces video classes focused on visual learning.
The winning team was awarded a course on angel investment, and the runner-up a set amount of mentoring hours. The top three projects also received the book Investidor-Anjo. Other rewards – such as investments – will surely appear later down the line.
