As Red Innova kicks off today in New York, many are already looking forward to its next stop. On the 21st and 22nd of this month, Red Innova will head to São Paulo to host its second conference in Brazil.
The event, which will be held at Teatro Vivo, is expected to bring together over 1,000 attendees hailing from 28 different countries. It will focus on some of the most pressing issues in technology and innovation today and serve as a gathering place for Brazil’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Over 40 entrepreneurs, investors and executives are set to speak at Red Innova São Paulo 2012, including Romero Rodrigues (Buscapé), Hernan Kazah (Kaszek Ventures), Gustavo Caetano (Samba Tech), Danilo Amaral (Trindade Investimentos), Eduardo L’Hotellier (GetNinjas), Carlos Curioni (Elo7) and Ana Gabriela Pessoa (Ezlearn). In presentations and discussion panels, they’ll discuss a wide range of issues, from PR to entrepreneurial teams, funding to gender.
Red Innova attendees in São Paulo, especially developers, will be given the opportunity to participate in a number of workshops led by some of Brazil’s top innovators. They’ll learn about the latest technologies in development, such as building for Windows Phone and cloud computing with Amazon AWS.
And, of course, the event would not be complete without the Red Innova Startup Competition, the inscriptions for which close tomorrow. Finalists will present their projects in São Paulo during the conference, and at the close of the event, the winning projects will be announced. The startup that comes in first place will receive a wide array of prizes, including coworking space, mentoring, an MBA package and a Nokia Lumia smartphone. The runner up will receive coworking space and a smartphone as well.
Red Innova São Paulo 2012, sponsored by Telefonica ǀ Vivo, is less than two weeks away. Tickets are on sale now, so make sure to reserve your space soon.
