Want to catch up on the latest trends in video and viral marketing? Think about hitting up the BRNewTech November meetup tomorrow, November 7th, in São Paulo.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Telefônica in Bela Vista. It will focus on the effective use of viral video in marketing campaigns and the implementation of video-related strategies.
René Rechtman, CEO of goviral and SVP of AOL Advertising Group International, has been invited to speak at the meetup. He sold goviral, a distributor of branded entertainment content, to AOL for US$97 million and now heads international advertising at both companies. Coming in at number 45 on the Wired 100 list in the U.K. last year, Rechtman is an experienced entrepreneur, consultant and investor and is widely recognized as a leader in Europe’s technology community.
The BRNewTech meetup will also feature a pitch competition. Event attendees will hear from three startups that will present their projects in the video and viral realm.
Inscriptions remain open to attend the BRNewTech November meetup. Those who reserve a space ahead of time will be charged R$35 (US$17) to attend. Individuals may also purchase tickets to the event at the door at a price of R$50 (US$25). However, it is important to note that space is limited.
