Over 40 different companies applied for the PulsoConf Startup Pitch Competition, and now, the five finalists have been chosen.
Each team will have eight minutes to present their products and receive feedback from an expert panel of entrepreneurial and investment leaders.
Without further ado, the finalists are:
CodetagMe.- An online gathering place for software developers to show their stuff and improve their talents via challenges, contests and social coding.
SnappyGo.- A place where expert travelers help users to plan their next international trip.
SuperLikers.- Latin America’s first social loyalty program, through which many brands have already improved their SMM KPIs by more than 200%.
TalentSurfers.- A community for users to find classes to attend or teach in their local areas.
Touristlink .- A social marketplace that connects users to locals and tour guides to share travel experiences.
The selection process for the PulsoConf Startup Pitch Competition was extremely rigorous – a reflection of the caliber of the applications received. Selection criteria included the existence of an English-language product version, a scalable and stable business model, and the current status of the idea.
The winners of the contest will be awarded a wide range of products with a total value of over US$1500, including:
– Two months Code School (x4)
– Two months Urban Station Bogotá (x4)
– Evernote Premium Account (x4)
– One Xbox
– Team PR Workshop
The PulsoConf Startup Pitch Competition will take place this Sunday, September 30th at 11:0 am. Startups will be evaluated by David Weekly of 500 Startups and Mexican.VC, Adam D’Augelli of True Ventures, Marta Cruz of Nextperience and NXTP Labs, Ran Harnevo of 5min Media and AOL, and Steve Martocci of GroupMe.
The clock is ticking as PulsoConf approaches, bringing together an international group of entrepreneurs, developers, investors and journalists for three days of intense programming. The event will prove an excellent opportunity for networking, business and learning.
