Following a fast-paced month of acceleration, the Startup Farm Rio de Janeiro Demo Day is here. This afternoon, participating enterprises will present their products to a group of investors at the event, which will also be open to the public.
During this second edition of Startup Farm Rio de Janeiro, a total of 29 startups participated in the four-week acceleration program. They received training, mentoring, education and support in refining their business models and ideas through a Silicon-Valley-inspired process that is both intensive and efficient.
This evening, various projects will make a case for investment. Mobilize, a tool for converting Facebook pages into crowdfunding initiatives, is set to present. Travel itinerary platform Intrip, lab equipment search engine LabSynapse and gourmet gastronomy club Cuvée 21 will also pitch their projects. They will join the ranks of the over 100 projects that have been accelerated by Startup Farm to date, some of which have received investments of upwards of one million dollars.
Startup Farm Rio Demo Day will commence at 6:30 p.m. today – more information may be found here.
