Brazil is a bit of a favorite amongst the big guns in tech.
Last year, Nokia Siemens announced plans to build a 4G plant in the country, and this year, TIM Brasil selected the company to deploy its LTE 4G network. Lenovo acquired Brazilian electronics manufacturer CEE this past September, and in the same month Foxconn revealed that it would be building Brazilian manufacturing plant number five in São Paulo. Microsoft topped off the year announcing a US$100 million investment to build a technology center in Rio de Janeiro.
