Next Monday, September 24th, Social Media Week will kick off in 13 cities around the world, including São Paulo, Brazil. The week-long event will explore and celebrate the social, cultural and economic impact of social media on the world we live in today.
Throughout the week, numerous events will take place simultaneously throughout São Paulo. At the Think Tank Stage, attendees will see presentations and discussion panels composed of top social media leaders. Online communities, branded content and advertising will be among the topics featured. SMW participants will also have the opportunity to check out the Learning Stage, where they’ll hear about case studies and other insights into the online social world. The Brainstorm Room will be a space for discussions of planning, creativity, media and content, and the Practice Room will hold 18 workshops on related themes.
One new addition to São Paulo’s Social Media Week is the Inspiration Lunch, which will allow four lucky individuals to meet with top CEOs and executives in social media in Brazil. Inscriptions are closed for this portion of SMW, but it’ll surely be back on the agenda in future editions.
If you’re going to be in São Paulo next week, Social Media Week is one thing you won’t want to miss. For more information, check out socialmediaweek.org/saopaulo.
