Brazilian social commerce company Elike announced today an investment from Intel Capital, the details of which remain undisclosed.
Elike was founded in 2011 by Flavio Berman, Tatiana Albuquerque and Raphael Lassance in Rio de Janeiro. In July of the same year, it launched MeuShopping, a Facebook aggregator that acts as a virtual shopping tool for leading brands and retailers. MeuShopping currently has more than 70,000 users.
With its investment, Elike will seek to increase sales and brand offers, grow its user base, and engage more with consumers and brands alike.
